Phoenix

Inspiration for this song comes from 1 Peter 5:10 and also Job 29:18.

For the latter, I was specifically interested in versions such as the NRSV

which translate"חוֹל" (chol) as "phoenix" (arguably controversial).

Nonetheless, the truth of Christ rising from death is powerful,

and we have renewed life in Him.
